Go-To Oatmeal Cookies Recipe for Any Occasion

A versatile oatmeal cookies recipe that you can dress up or down and is perfect for any occasion when you add your choice of mix-ins.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter leave out night before to soften
  • 1 cup Florida Crystals Organic Raw Cane Sugar
  • 1 cup Florida Crystals Organic Brown Raw Cane Sugar
  • 2 eggs room temperature
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour 1 cup whole wheat pastry 1 cup whole wheat
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 cups mix-ins optional - chocolate or white chocolate chips, cranberries, raisins, pistachios, cherries
  • 4 tbsp Florida Crystals Organic Powdered Raw Cane Sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375

  2. Cream butter, sugar, and brown sugar in mixer

  3. Add eggs and vanilla

  4. In a small bow, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinammon

  5. Slowly add in the oats

  6. Evenly divide the dough in the number of bowls of mix-ins you want. Examples: 1/2 cup chocolate chips, 1/4 cup dried coconut and 1/4 cup ginger crystals or 1/2 cup white chocolate chips and 1/4 cup pistachios

  7. Add 1/4 of the dough to each of the bowls and mix in

  8. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and drop a tsp of cookie mix for each cookie. Lightly press down on each cookie with a wet fork.

  9. Bake for 8-10 minutes

  10. Let cool for 3 minutes and dip top in powdered sugar
