Broadway Bites, one of Urbanspace’s diverse popup markets, is officially open now through July 14. Located at Greeley Square on Broadway, between 32nd and 33rd Street, Broadway Bites features over 30 of the best food vendors the city has to offer. From the established to the up-and-coming to the Instagram-worthy, you can’t go wrong with any of these delicious offerings.
Don’t Miss These Urbanspace Broadway Bites Vendors
If you’re craving Asian-inspired cuisine, check out Mi Burger, which specializes in the rice burger. You get your choice of filling (I highly recommend the hoisin duck) sandwiched between two slightly toasty rice “buns.”
Another small bite is the bao bun at Bao by Kaya, a vendor that sells Taiwanese snacks. Their signature “gua bao,” a soft fluffy steamed bun filled with your choice of savory meat such as juicy pork belly, literally melts in your mouth.
When it comes to Mexican food, I have some very strong opinions. That said, Domo Taco, a taqueria that fuses Mexican and Asian flavors together, won’t disappoint. After a taco filled with lemongrass chicken or five-spice braised pork shoulder paired with soy miso slaw, you won’t look the same way at Mexican cuisine again.
Looking for some southern comfort food with a twist? Look no further than Chick’nCone, where you’ll find fork-free chicken & waffles slathered in a sauce of your choice like kick’n ranch, yella bbq, or buffalo blue.
If you’re really hungry, head for Mighty Quinn’s for some traditional tender, smoky BBQ.
Also, highly acclaimed is Raclette from the Baked Cheese Haus. Think gooey melted cheese straight off a half-wheel of Alpine cheese on a baguette. There is nothing better.
Obviously, no meal is complete without dessert. Luckily, Broadway Bites has plenty to choose from. On a hot day, try one of Ice & Vice’s eccentric ice cream concoctions or one of Mochidoki’s ice cream-filled mochi balls, with flavors such as black sesame and lychee colada.
Other indulgent choices include Doughnut Project’s inventive treats like the everything bagel doughnut or Squish Marshmallows’ marshmallow s’mores taco.
Don’t forget to wash it all down with one of Renegade Lemonade’s refreshing lemonades like the raspberry rose or the strawberry basil. You’ll be set.
Broadway Bites is open daily Monday – Sunday, 11am – 9pm. For a complete list of vendors, click here. If you can’t make it this summer or just can’t get enough of the delicious food, be sure not to miss the Fall Market, October 4 – November 10.
