The Ironman 70.3 World Championship race is actually located in the Henderson and Lake Las Vegas areas and not near the strip. This means you will need to have a car to get to and from the airport as well as to get around race day, especially since transition areas T1 and T2 are in separate locations. A couple of quick updates for race day spectating at Ironman Mont Tremblant: Bike special needs has moved this year to the Montee Ryan, just up from the beach.
