  • ¼ cup cornstarch 
  • 2 ½ cups milk, whole 
  •  ½ cup heavy whipping cream 
  • 4 large egg yolks

 In a large saucepan, mixed with the sugar and the corn-starch. Set aside.

Add your milk, whipping cream, egg yolks, butter, and vanilla to a separate large mixing bowl.

With your saucepan on medium heat, bring all of your ingredients to a boil. Make sure that you are continuously whisking to ensure no clumps build-up.
