Tips for Making Your Own Homemade Strawberry Lollipops
Homemade lollipops also have a certain charm that comes from their imperfections. Here are a few tips for making your own homemade lollipops:
- Use a candy thermometer to ensure that the sugar syrup reaches the correct temperature. If it’s too hot, the lollipops will be hard and brittle; if it’s too cold, they’ll be soft and sticky.
- Use a piping bag or squeeze bottle to fill the mold, as this will help to avoid air bubbles.
- Dip the lollipops in sugar once they’ve cooled and hardened for a perfect finish.
With these tips in mind, you’ll be able to create homemade lollipops that are both delicious and fun to eat!

I am a home cook that does things my way. In my kitchen, I make breakfast, pack lunches, prepare snacks, and cook dinner. During the week, we eat real food that is homemade, organic, and local. On the weekends we do explore more of our local restaurants. I bake my own bread, juice fresh oranges every other day, and make my own kombucha and other weekly favorites.
