The TriWives are thrilled to have Mike Thompson, a 4-time cancer survivor and 2012 Kona Ironman, joining us as a guest blogger. Mike will discuss the importance of supporters in every aspect of his life and what it’s like to be a tri supporter for his many friends. His story truly embodies the spirit, dedication, and optimism of this sport. When he’s not training, racing, supporting, or working at Jack & Adams, a tri store in Austin, he’ volunteering, giving inspirational speeches, and raising funds for cancer research. Whew……His journey has been brutal, but Mike says, “I’m always searching for the good in everything I do.”
Please watch this short video, “Love for Life – My Own Finish Line,” to see why we are so pleased for you to get to know Mike. You will be in awe at what he is capable of accomplishing. The human spirit never ceases to amaze…….
