Did you know you can make homemade pizza on the grill anywhere? Even if you don’t have a back yard! It is crispy and warm and can be made with whatever toppings you have on hand. Plus, it’s super easy and the kids can even help you do it!

When we lived in a Omaha, our little front balcony (well, thankfully not that little) was home to a gas grill, a charcoal grill, a smoker and 2, yes, 2 pizza grills. Why? Go ahead and ask me why we, empty nesters, need all this. I HAVE NO IDEA! But, he is happy…

After I took a deep breathe and accepted the fact that there’s going to be little room left on balcony for anything other than grills, we made wonderful pizza with a new dough recipe I finally perfected! Please don’t be afraid to make your own dough, seriously. This is even something you can do with the kids and they get to see it rise and have fun.

Fresh, homemade dough just makes the pizza taste so much better in my opinion. I really think it’s worth the effort. Got some time on your hands? Just try it once and see if you agree. If not, you can always go back to the store bought.

So, here you go…enjoy the fruits of my 2 pizza grill family with this homemade pizza on the grill recipe.
