Whew, we did a lot of posts this past year.  Can’t believe we had it in us.  Well, we did get a bit of help from some guest bloggers, including Lindsay Berkebile, and coach Matt Dixon of purplepatchfitness.  These “Greatest Hits” represent what you, our readers, found either to be most pertinent in your lives or most fun to read.  Either way, journey back with us.

1  A REAL LIFE APPLICATION OF RoadID

This was such a sad post to write as Dana’s husband was actually hit by a drunk driver while out on his bike.  He had his RoadID app crumb turned on and that’s how he got help and Dana found which hospital he was at.  This is Dana’s message she wanted everyone to read, so they are more aware, take precautions, and increase awareness to these bike/car collisions that are happening with increasing frequencey.

2  THE TRIATHLON SPECTATOR’S TRAINING PROGRAM

Jodi made being a spectator so much fun in this spoof on a triathlete’s training program.  Need a lesson in Cow Bell Ringing 101?  Jodi teaches you how it’s done and so much more….

3  SINGLE, 20-SOMETHING, & TRI-ING:  DATING

We absolutely adore Lindsay’s writing.  It’s full of honesty, humor, fun, and real life helpful tips.  Maybe that’s why we ask her back so often.  She created this awesome series for us on being Single, 20-Something, & Tri-ing.  This one on dating was the first in the series.

4  DO’S AND DON’TS FOR A HAPPY LIFE WITH A TRIATHLETE

We actually did these Do’s and Don’ts in a 3 part series.  This one addressed a happy life from our perspective as the partner.  We also did posts from the triathlete’s and female triathlete’s perspectives.  All were widely viewed.

5  SLOW COOKER GREENS AND BEANS

We have no idea why this post remains so popular, other than the fact that WE love greens and beans.  But, this post almost every day continues to get viewers.  Go figure…

6  ROMANTIC TRIATHLON RACE VENUES – YES, THEY DO EXIST!

This was so much fun for us to do.  We wanted to show all of you trisupporters and triathletes out there that going to a triathlon doesn’t have to be all business.  So, each one of us picked a race venue that meant romance for us.  The reasons actually even surprised us.

7  PLANNING AN INTERNATIONAL TRIATHLON TRIP

Triathlons are held all over the world by many different organizations and can be wonderful vacation options.  Since we’ve been to a few international triathlons – Austria, Frankfurt, Mont Tremblant, Penticton, the UK, Nice, and Mallorca – we thought we’d share some of our tips to keep in mind when planning that trip and before registering for the race.

So, there you have our “greatest hits” for 2014.  We hope you enjoyed them for the first time or 10th (well, we doubt that one, but we can hope).  But most of all, we hope we continue to have as much to say in 2015 and that you continue to visit us…
